World Redefinition Charter
Detailed Version
Preamble: A Death Certificate for the Old World
The "national narratives" and "ethnic myths" forged in the 20th century have begun to self-destruct under the weight of their own internal contradictions and historical deceptions. Japan's "international contributions," Great Britain's "faded glory," Italy's "historical reconciliations," and Israel's "promised land"—all are based on self-serving interpretations of history. By avoiding a direct confrontation with their difficult pasts, these narratives have fueled the profound global conflicts and dysfunctions of today.
In stark contrast stands the "narrative of responsibility" demonstrated by Germany. By refusing to look away from the worst of its past, integrating it into the core of its national identity, and shouldering it as a permanent responsibility, Germany was able to build a foundation of trust in post-war Europe. The truth this comparison reveals is singular: "A narrative that evades a difficult past is doomed to fail."
In the post-Walpurgis world, myths and selective historical interpretations no longer possess the power to bind the world order. The sole foundation for a new order is the universal and transparent rule set forth in the THP Ethics Charter: "to punish those who destroy order and trample on human decency." This charter is a death certificate for the narratives of the old world and a birth certificate for the new order led by THP.
Article 1: The Primacy of Universal Order
The sole and absolute justice in the new world is the "maintenance of order." No act that destroys order itself or violates human decency will be justified, regardless of the pretext—be it ethnicity, religion, nation, or ideology. A legitimate member of the world is any entity, irrespective of size or economic power, that respects this universal order and bears the responsibility for its upkeep.
Article 2: Integration of Responsibility and Atonement
Sins of the past cannot be erased through forgetfulness or relativism. They must be permanently integrated into the identity of a nation or people as "responsibility." As the German example shows, it is the inheritance of responsibility that builds trust in the future. THP establishes a gateway for "atonement," allowing for a return to the international community, on the precondition that this responsibility is fulfilled.
Article 3: The Irreversibility of Condemnation
Acts defined as "universal high crimes" by the THP Ethics Charter—such as war crimes, genocide, and crimes against humanity—are to be "condemned" as an ethical judgment by all of humanity, transcending political considerations. This condemnation is an irreversible historical brand that shall not be overturned by any change in era or political circumstance. This is humanity's pledge to the future.
Article 4: The Horizontality of Peoples and Religions
All peoples and religions are equal and horizontal in their cultures, histories, and values; no hierarchy exists. Their diversity is to be respected and protected as an asset to humanity. However, when any group denies others, proclaims its own superiority, or justifies violence, it is no longer considered a people or a religion but a "cult" or a "violent apparatus" to be condemned by THP. The foundation of coexistence lies in the mutual recognition that "your truth and my truth can both be right."
Article 5: Scientific Realism
While science is not omnipotent, as "knowledge of reality" based on objective data and verifiable processes, it shall be the foundation for all decision-making. In medicine especially, standard treatments based on scientific evidence are considered the best option. Obstructing these for religious or cultural reasons is deemed a grave violation against life.
Article 6: The Co-creation of Future Narratives
The narratives of "justice" monopolized by nations, peoples, and religions in the old world have lost their efficacy. The only narrative that will weave the post-Walpurgis future is the process itself—wherein all actors collaboratively construct a common order under the three pillars of "transparency, fairness, and accuracy" championed by THP.
Conclusion: An Evolving Protocol
The seven documents of THP, including this charter, are not a completed scripture. They are evolving protocols that future generations must constantly rewrite through democratic processes to fit the realities of their time. Our goal is not the realization of a perfect world, but the perpetual, unceasing effort to pursue a world where all life can maintain its dignity and enjoy peace, in any era.
